Review-of-the-Year-2008---front-cover---resizedDanube-Street-Final-Drawing-2-smallA qualified horticulturalist and garden designer, Tracy McQue is passionate about good design, loves gardens and has an broad in-depth plant knowledge. She brings a creative and flexible approach to all aspects of a project.

With a background in customer service, a business degree and experience as a project manager, Tracy understands the importance of working closely with clients to develop a garden design in accordance to their individual needs, desires and budget. This, along with her extensive knowledge of landscaping, enables her to work directly with contractors to ensure gardens are completed on time and within  budget.

As well as working in Edinburgh Tracy has carried out projects from Crail & Falkland in Fife, down to the Borders & Peebleshire. She's also undertaken commercial commissions, including soft landscape design for the Broadsands development in North Berwick and the design for an Eco School Garden for Kirk O'Shotts primary in North Lanarkshire.

Besides running her practice Tracy teaches on the Garden Design course at the Scottish Agricultural College in Edinburgh, where she helped the students with their Silver Medal winning show garden at the 2010 Chelsea Flower Show. Two of McQue Gardens projects have been featured in The Garden Design Journal in their Review of the Year 2008 and 2009. More about these can be read in our Media section.
